Job Responsibilities
Setting and implementing strategy for Learning & Development in
7,000 people organisation. Working in partnership with senior
leaders to determine priorities, and resources required. Directing
team of training managers, and heading up 130 person department.
Setting annual plan and monitoring and reporting on performance
against plan. Contributing to national police training initiatives.

Excellent track record in leading training and development;
graduate degree level education with professional qualification in
Training

Fair degree of autonomy to lead department as I see fit.

Multiple arms of national and local government each with their own

Public sector 37 hour week, little travel outside force area, formal dress code
most of the time.

Compensation
Around $75,000 before tax, no bonuses. Contributory pension
