Job Responsibilities
Reviews and responds to various subpoenas; written
depositions addressed to the Records Management Department for
sold and closed facilities.
Conducts document production for discoveries responding
to internal and external counsel regarding various civil
litigation issues.
Document production for Custodian of Records Affidavits.
Assists Records Management in locating and reviewing
records retention laws; assists and reviews departmental
subcontracting agreements with outside vendors.
Acting with Records Analyst with retention reviews of
corporate records, closed and sold facilities, long-term care
entities.
Reviews and responds to various requests for
credentialing of physicians; employee verifications; patient or
physician medical records requests associated with closed or sold
facilities.
Assists and Supervises ongoing identification and
indexing projects acting as liaison for Records Management Team
and outsourced document storage facilities.
Assists manager in updating forms for Records
Management Department insuring compliance with new HIPAA laws and
ethics training.
