Quality control clerk, temp. 40-hour week seasonal position.
No permanent position since layoff due to merger in 1998. I
also open mail, both by hand and by machine.

That disabled persons like me are able to get jobs at this company, even if
seasonal. That I can do the job, even though I am learning disabled and have
several other disabilities.

It pays about $8.00 an hour. The job is only seasonal -- this
is my 2nd time at company doing seasonal work (9 mo.)
Difficulty getting permanent position at this company.

Lifestyle
Oh please! This is drudgework, pays way too little for the cost
of living in this city, including the high rents. This is only
recommended for disabled and desperate folks like me who
cannot find a job elsewhere.

Compensation
What compensation? I am seasonal. All I get is Vision Care
this 2nd time around with the company but I have not yet
taken advantage of this (eyeglasses only).
