Staff development-teaching new applications to teachers and
admimistrators; helping teachers infuse technology into their
lessons
Customer Relations-helping administrators and teachers solve
problems regarding technology.

The best part of my job is helping others solve problems and teaching adults.

Downers
The worst part of my job is the hours and pay. We work longer
hours and more days than a regular teacher and compensation is
not equal. There is no payment for overtime or weekend work.

Lifestyle
We work 12 months, 8 hours a day with expectations of working overtime and
weekends. Although a 4 day week is offered in the summer, it means a 10 hour day.
Dress code is business.

Compensation
Compensation is the same as a teacher in the system plus 1500
dollars. Vacation days are dependent on years of service,
ranging from 5 to 25 yearly. Vacation days must be used yearly
and cannot be accumulated.

Advice to Jobseekers
This job requires a minimum of 5 years classroom teaching
experience. I would make sure the compensation is equal to the
hours and job responsibilities.
