Job Responsibilities
My job responsibilities consist of the production of student
identification cards, answering questions aimed at the
functioning of the school over the phone, assist in the
processing of loans as well as bus passes, the handling of
moneys, rent calculators for student use, conduct campus tours,
assist in setting up student leadership functions and events,
filing papers, and data entry.

Job Requirements
To foster a connective spirit of cooperation where students are
able to: Develop as moral and ethical leaders in a multicultural
society. To also find a meaningful sense of community, civility
and citizenship. Identification and appreciation of human
differences, as well as enhance academic endeavors through a
diverse offering of experiential learning activities, special
projects and supportive services is the nature of the program.

Uppers
A couple aspects of the job I find beneficial are the people in which I work.
For one, the dress code is casual. I work with students the same age as me. I
feel like I get along better with people the same age as me. I enjoy helping
people along with their education because I know its contributing to goals and
dreams of the students enrolled. Knowing I help individuals get to where they
want to be in life is a gift that feels like a sense of accomplishment.

Downers
On occasion I must deal with the irrate people that don't like
the rules the school has set for them and they take it out on
me. Sometimes when people don't get what they want their
attitudes change very quickly and I have to deal with it.

Lifestyle
Keep your goals in sight and don't work at a job unless you have
a genuine passion to show up everyday and enjoy being there or
why do it? There is no reason for anyone to be at a job they
hate and it wont to any good to complain to other people about
it.

Compensation
Payment is not what I can live off of. I get payed every two
weeks a minimum wage hourly salary. I don't recieve any
bonuses, stock options, of any sort, but for what i lack in pay
I make up for in actually wanting to come to work every week.

Advice to Jobseekers
