Job Responsibilities
To sell, then administer fundraisers for k-12 schools. The
majority of the day is spent either calling on school sponsors, or
presenting to the students, to get them excited about doing the
fundraiser.

Job Requirements
The program is pretty simple if I understand the question. You
need at least a college education, or educational experience. I
have worked with adolescents for close to ten years.

I enjoy working with people, and especially the students, it is exciting when
they get that excited look on their faces after I do the presentation and explain
the programs.

Downers
Trying to get to the decision makers. Having to get through the
front office to the appropriate person. The good ones though make
up for the bad ones.

Lifestyle
Lifestyle is pretty simple. You work the golden hours between 7:30 and 4:30 PM.
Dress is casual as you don't want to stand out. You go to social events to make
contacts. You find your own niches.

Compensation
It had a base of $40,000 and a 20% commission rate on wholesale
once the base was met. Stock options after one year and benefits
after three months.

Advice to Jobseekers
Make sure you already have contacts in the area. Not sure of the
outlook right now, is bad with my particular firm. There may be
parts of the industry that are doing well.
