Job Responsibilities
Keeping the major billing application running by liaising with our
IT Service Provide to perform enhancement & defect resolution work
(2-3 hrs per day). Oversee a team of 12 business analysts who
document functional and business requirements for the IT team and
test all work before migration to the production environment (3-4
hrs per day). I also liaise with our in house I.T. team who
provide Help Desk and infrastructure support (1 hr per day).

Job Requirements
Degree in a business or IT related discipline is required for this
role.

Uppers
Dealing with the Service Provider and negotiating delivery dates is the most
enjoyable part of the job. Also working with my team on a day to day basis is
very enjoyable as they are a great bunch of people.

Downers
Sometimes having to come down hard of the Service Provider is not
pleasant.

Lifestyle
Around 7.5 hrs per day is required although sometimes more time is needed. Very
little weekend work except during major upgrades or testing our Disaster
Recovery plan.

Compensation
Around $70k per annum. No bonuses or benefits other that
Superannuation of 9% of wages is paid by the employer.
