Job Responsibilities
My main duty is data information input, pretty much typing all
day long, I do have to verify information and do some
troubleshooting when errors occur.

Job Requirements
As with most Revenue Canada positions there is an entry exam,
several people are requested to take this exam and the ones who
meet or exceed position requirements based on the exam are then
hired.

Uppers
There are a lot of advancement opportunities and they offer free training
courses for various skills, these courses can be taken there or online. Benefits
are good if you are a year round employee, great with vacation/sick time. Quite a
few staff morale booster events. And regardless of your job you are treated with
respect
|
Downers
The uncertainty of start/end dates for the term, no benefits for
term employees, it's very monotonous
|
Lifestyle
work hours are 7-3 which is great, they have some great staff events, the
cafeteria is pretty good, there is a ton of respect for each employee
demonstrated by all levels of staff, there are people from all walks of life and
all ethnicities.

Compensation
15 per hour with yearly increase.

Advice to Jobseekers
This isn't a full time job or what I would consider a career,
it's great for people who aren't quite sure what to do just yet,
or people who are at lower paying jobs that can take a few months
off to work as a term employee
