Job Responsibilities
I joined the Power Generation and Supply division of Reliant
Energy to create a fuel market analysis group. This team uses
market fundamentals to develop fuel market strategies and improve
decision-making around the company's power generation and
pipeline assets. I lead and provide guidance of market trends
(e.g., supply/demand balances, price outlooks, LNG impacts, inter-
fuel competition, environmental regulations, and emission
pricing) around hydrocarbon fuels and power generation.

Advice to Jobseekers
Get an MBA rather than a PhD. It takes less than half the time
and has more respect among the other MBAs, which comprise 95% of
senior management in corporate America.
