Job Responsibilities
The job responsibilities included analysis and roll-out of process
& system related improvements and changes. Since, it depended on
the project at hand and the stage/scope of project, the time line
varied accordingly.
In general;
1. Maximum amount spent in customer/inter-departmental interaction
2. Next on the list is planning and scope of the project
3. Testing/change phase could be as long as the planning phase.
4. Final implementation and review.
1/4 of the day/week was spent on review/MIS preparation for reporting.

Job Requirements
The career path started with entry-level employee -> Supervisor ->
project lead -> departmental manager -> middle management ->
senior management. The time spent at the first stage is the
longest but could vary depending on qualifications. An MBA would
comein at the supervisory position and could move up or around
based on skills exhibited. Interpersonal skills are much more
valuable in any field.

Advice to Jobseekers
The responsibilities would only increase & so will be the
positions. The smart thing to do will be to develop interpersonal
skills (by self and company provided trainings) to provide an edge
to the education/qualities one might possess. The last line, i
believe is applicable to any function.
You should be ready to try out new things, accept change, not
despise it.
