No formal training, on the job experience over many years,
currently being verified by my undertaking a recognised Project
Management course.

The variety of work depending upon the type of project currently being
undertaken and the different people assigned to work on the project.

Red tape!
Customers not knowing what they want and then on realisation
changing the goal posts.

Lifestyle
Hours bad if at implementation stage, compounded by lack of business ownership
if problems arise.
Lack of resources being made available.

Compensation
Variety of work and the people required to implement a project is
rewarding.

Advice to Jobseekers
To try and get a project manager mentor, someone who is prepared
to provide guideance, but someone who 'you' respect and look up
to to assist with the mindfield of red tape and the politics!
