Helpful to have prior IT Project Mgmt experience, good technology
understanding, strong business analysis skills. Being outspoken
is a plus in this job, to manage multiple dominating
stakeholders. Has a strong future due to increasing outsourcing
of IT functions. An offshoring program manager is a specific case
of a Program Manager. Managing team offshore also becomes a
responsibility.
