Job Responsibilities
Analyzing gas pipeline tariffs and rates and insuring that they
abide by Commission policy. The rate filings are given a month
deadline because they are statutory. If an order is not drafted
for the pipeline filing within the 30 days, it automatically goes
into effect. Depending on the amount of detail in a filing, it
can be completed in a week or it might take the full thirty
days. Cases are given to employees who have worked with the same
pipelines, so they are therefore familiar with the pipeline's
tariff and rate schedules.
