Job Responsibilities
Perform production line and product analysis, ergonomic analysis
of equipment. (10%)
Track labor costs, develop and maintain labor budgets and yields
(product, ingredient, packaging materials). (35%)
Substitute for Hourly supervisor during busy season (summer).
(25% of your time) Project work as assigned. (30%)

Job Requirements
Need Industrial Engineering bachelors degree,
Prefer 1-2 years of manufacturing/food experience
Must have skills in Access database design, Excel intensive

A lot of autonomy as you are the only Industrial Engineer on site. Great
interaction with all departments and hourly employees.

Job description is very fuzzy and you frequently work on various
projects that may or may not be in your "area". You are
considered the most "fluid" person so that when something comes
up that doesn't fit in a department, it falls to you.

Lifestyle
Typically worked a 40 hour week. Summer time when supervising hours can shift
earlier, but still be about 45 hours a week. No travel, no social events. May
have to come in on nights (as run a 24 hour operation), but no weekends.
Diversity at this location is low, especially in management. Dress code is
business casual with casual (jeans) Fridays.

Compensation
Base salary is really based on yoru level of expereince and
could be between 35,000-50,000. Annual increases are minimal
(about 3%), and depend heavily on performance of the plant. Your
performance may merit an additional increase.
