Lifestyle
Dress Code differs by company - ours is a casual code w/exception to denim being
allowed after normal hours. Our helpdesk is a 24/7 operation and I work 12 hr
days.

Compensation
Compensation has its renge as well. I work on a salaried basis
w/o bonuses. Some people I work with are company employees but
are hourly and still others are employed here through a temp
agency and are hourly. The range is between $15.00 and $25.00 per
hour.

Advice to Jobseekers
Learn all you can including new technologies; relax and realize
we all learn at different rates; if people and their attitudes
are something you cannot deal with, then avoid this industry; if
you can be flexible when others do not know what
your "terminology" is and you can make them understand without
making them feel like they are complete fools and you enjoy htat -
then run to this business as quickly as you can.
