Job Responsibilities
Representation of nonprofit clients relating to formation,
obtaining tax-exempt status and ongoing corporate governance.
Work involves client contact on a daily basis as well as work
with federal and state state and regulatory agencies especially
the IRS.

Uppers
Best part is helping organization get up and running including making sure that
they follow requirements to maintain their federal tax-exempt status. Also,
seeing the good work that these organizations do in the community.

Downers
Biggest downer is dealing with the IRS and all the read tape
that involves.

Lifestyle
Work hours are 50-60 per week. Travel is a constant. Firm social events are
numerous.
|
Compensation
Starting salary is $75,000 (currently under review by
management), but may be raised in the next year. Bonuses are
available, but are based almost entirely on billable hours.
