of real estate. work independently. Work 25 hours per week.
handle all types of challenging projects regarding purchases,
sales, refinancing of commercial loan.

I came in at $5.00 less an hour than my last job. I am a top
level real estate paralegal and I make the same money as the
legal secretaries in this firm.

Lifestyle
I love the job. I have my own office and I work mostly on my own because I
don't really need much guidance since I am very experienced. I am unhappy making
the same salary as the secretaries who are not doing the level of work I am doing
and for which I have been doing for 20 years.

Compensation
My salary is $25 per hour. I do not take their benefits. I was
given a $900 bonus this year. Its a good firm, but I am under
paid for my experience and abilities.

Advice to Jobseekers
Its great and challenging work and I love it. But since I
cannot work full time right now, I cannot make a move to a firm
that will pay more.
