Job Responsibilities
As majority shareholder in Nicholson Science, I have all the duties of any
private
owner. As senior scientist, I am responsible for our scientific mission,
including the
collection and distribution of our products

Job Requirements
Graduate School at State University of New York Environemental Science and
Forrestry, in chemistry of all things (follow your business degree with that
course of
study--I had a screw loose!), followed by the State University of New York
Health
Science Center at Syracuse University, back to graduate school in economics at
Georgia Tech (where my experiments got me into serious hot water AGAIN), on to
medical school offshore, and viola!

Uppers
It is a thrill to discover something that no one else has ever dreamed of before.
|
Downers
Explaining semiochemistry to police officers suspicious of our "activities".
|
Lifestyle
Poverty is the bane of this frontier. I have been a key inspiration for three
United States Presidents, the head of the NAACP, four governors of four different
states, and caused the collapse of European communism with the help of Spielberg
and his buds. If you expect financial reward for a carreer on the borders of
medicine, you had better choose another occupation.

Compensation
BBC-TV gave me airplane tickets and travel money.
Canadian Broadcasting's National Film Board of Canada flew me to Toronto and put
me up in a crummy hotel for a week. Got on TV a few times.

Advice to Jobseekers
Attend somewhere else. Georgia Tech and other "fine schools" are not the final
arbiter of your intelligence. What they teach is available in any public
library (with an
interlibrary loan card). Such schools place a premium on speed of learning when
depth of learning is really required. It happens again in medical school trying
to keep
up with facile learners who accepting everything told them in school without
challenge. There are far fewer stupid people at Georgia Tech, a plus. But
beware of
the administration. When I was at Georgia Tech I designed and proposed the HOPE
Scholarship Program for Zell Miller, then our Lt. Governor WHILE I was being
drummed out of Georgia Tech by sexual perverts in the Dean of Student's &
Financial
Aid Office (Dr. Carole Moore and her "associates") because I "accepted money"
while
getting college credit. (Nevermind the work-study program at Tech in operation
since the 1930's). The College of Management ex post facto made my offense
punishable, but I was punished anyway. It was "fun" to humiliate a student, I
suppose.
