Job Responsibilities
I deal with direct patient care including full vital signs, administering
medications, drawing blood, and assisting the doctors with minor surgery
procedures. I also process lab specimens to be shipped out and incoming results
of tests. I am trained in medical biling and coding along with insurance coverage.

Job Requirements
I went to school at Western Career College and obtained a
certificate in their medical assisting course that only took nine months.

close relationship and helping people is something that I value greatly.

A well groomed appearance, clean scrubs, professional character, and available
to work overtime is a plus. You never know what can happen when it comes to life.
Everey one needs to see a health care provider at one time or another, so having
diversity in staff and openmindedness helps patients relax and feel more welcome.

Compensation
This is a job that pays well. especially if you work in a
specialists office. It gives you so much room to learn and
expand, not only in the health care field, but how you interact with people on a
day to day basis. Benefits are great as well if you work with an office that is
joined with a specific hospital.

This is a great job and you can never go wrong working in
healthcare if you enjoy being around different people on a day to day, and still
having close co-workers who support you and understand the rewards of helping
