As part of the audit team, the Audit Associate will be
responsible for:
Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or
exceeds
client expectations.
Preparing all necessary financial statement and related
disclosures and
reportable conditions letters with an eye on quality,
thoroughness and
accuracy.
Adhering to work plan schedules on each assignment.
Ensuring professional development through ongoing education and
obtaining
additional certifications as appropriate.
Recognizing and informing senior management of opportunities to
increase
level and types of services to clients.

Job Requirements
Enough classes to qualify for the CPA exam. Graduated from a top
accounting school, a plus.

4.) With Sarbanes Oxley work, auditors are more internal control
focused rather than financial reporting focused.

Very good. Hours are the best compared to other industries that provides great
exit opportunities. ( Consulting, ibanking) Drinking with your co-workers after
hours is pretty common.

Compensation
Entry Level: 45K + 10% bonus ( 1-2 years),
Senior: 50K ( after 2 years),
Manager: 80 K ( 5-8 years ),
Director: 100+K ( 10 to 15 years).
Partner: 300 - 1 million ( 12 to 20 years)
