Job Responsibilities
As a middle managment person in a small company , I have many
roles to play. I'm responsible for selling , administrative
work , filling out building applications for clients,
billing,estimating cost, inventory control,health and safety ,
just to mame a few. The time that is spent on each item varies to
the imediate work load.

Job Requirements
I have a grade 12 and some college courses, most experience has
been gained along the way in various jobs and life experiences.
An indepth study in construction estamating would be an asset, as
well as study on Health and Safety related to the construction
Industry.

Uppers
I enjoy working with consumers, as well as the fast paced environment, and the
variety of work makes the day intresting.Some days are spent just visiting job
sites and customers.

Downers
Having to make excuses to my customers as to why their job has
not been completed yet. Making errors on estimation as to the
amount of materials needed or orders that are late.

Lifestyle
This job has given me a mid leval pay, so the life style is not to bad. As I
work about 10-12 hours a day most weeks, but I do have the freedome to take take
time off when I need to. Most days are a causual dress day as I do have to go out
to sites during evuation of a job. This job comes with a pickup truck that I'm
welcome to drive as my own vehicle.

Compensation
this job should pay you about 40,000.-50,000. per year depending
on your experience and training and as mentioned before a vehicle
as an added benifit.

This is a unique type of carrier, but if you have a good back
ground in business management, or consruction estimating and want
to work in a small company, this is a great experience. Keep in
mind that this is an occupation that covers a lot of experience
and many different types of skills.
