Job Responsibilities
I work at the Customer Service desk where I process returns and
exchanges, process charge payments, process purchase orders and
make change for the POS operators. I also handle customer
complaints and answer general questions, as well as help people
with the Bridal Registry.

Job Requirements
This is retail, there is no education beyond high school
required.

Uppers
I like working with the customers, providing the best service possible so that
they walk out with smiles on their faces and plans to return to my store soon. I
have a reasonable schedule and the job is not physically or mentally demanding.

Downers
Some customers can be nasty and unreasonable. There are those
that are out to steal and cheat the store as well, and that can
get frustrating.

Lifestyle
just show up when scheduled! There is a casual work dress code, no travel, no
events beyond the company holiday party. Your schedule is determined by when you
are available to work.

Compensation
I make around $10/hour
if I work more than a thousand hours I get ESOP shares.
There are benefits, even for those who work part time, that want
them.

Advice to Jobseekers
You need to be flexible and understanding. But at the same
time, you have to on the lookout for those customers who are
just trying to scam, or worse, blatantly steal from the store.
