Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the installation, maintainance, service of
complete french fries produktion lines and produktion lines for
vegatables. Also installation, service of single machines for the
food processing industrie. This job takes variable time per week
with an average of 60 hours.

Job Requirements
The education requirements are Graduated Mechanical school (Mid-
Level for Europe). The lowest position is engineer, you will be
on the job leaded by a experienced service engineer/supervisor.
The mid-position is service engineer, you will go to customers
alone to provide service and maintanance, sometime you will work
as engineer in a group and sometime you can take the full
responsibillity on smaller installations. The highest position is
service engineer/supervisor. you will do the jobs from the
service engineer but you will also supervice big project with
only foreign workers all over the world.

Uppers
This job is worldwide, especially the installation of new produktion lines is
interesting because not one line is the same.
So you will work with many kinds of different machines which you have to put
together as a complete line. After that you will also start up the line
accompanied by the project manager.

Downers
Sometimes you have to repair machines for service. When they are
not cleaned, this can be a dirty, smelly and messy job.

Lifestyle
General workhours for my position are from 7.30Am - 7.30Pm, Buisiness travel
will be competely payed by the company and is included in these hours. For the
service part these hours can be variable. Once a year the company will organise a
social day for all labor, in general this will be a day with food and something
like games or a special place to visit. The company does not have a special dress
code, beside that all labor in the factory and in the service will wear an
overall from the company. The number of people on the job will be variable from 1
to 20. If needed the company will take care for special courses aswell to expand
your knowledge for this job.

Compensation
The compensation for this job is between 1800 and 2900 Euro,
depending on the level. All extra hours will be compensated by
extra money (125% and in the weekend 175%) or free time.

Advice to Jobseekers
This job is great for people who don't want to work from 8-5 in
the office although you have to consider that you will be away
from home for weeks sometimes, this is variable from 1 day up to
3 weeks maximum. If the job takes longer you will at least come
home for the weekend every two or three weeks. 1-day jobs are
most times service jobs and will sometimes take longer than 12
hours. I think the job outlook will be good for the future, while
not everybody (especially people with a familie) like to do this
kind of job.
