Job Responsibilities
Facilitating and training Labor Management Classes to both labor
and management staff to help them engage in a culture change for
working together. Work with individual departments to help
educate them on Interest Based problem solving and consensus
decision making processes to promote Kaiser as the health plan of
choice and the employer of choice.

Job Requirements
B.A. in Management with strong background in various types of
healthcare management. Strong background in working with labor
unions across multiple disciplines.

Day to day interaction with staff and members. Helping others recogonize the
value to working together with a shared strategy rather than against each other.

Too much conflict and disagreement about processes and too
many "important" people that always feel the need to be heard and
slow down work to be accomplished.

Lifestyle
Monday - Friday variation in hours usually 8:30 - 5:00 except on training days.
Travel to regional office once or twice a month ( 90 mile commute). Very
diverse organization with business dress being required and casual attire
acceptable for class environment.

Compensation
Base salary - 70,000 per year with no stock options. Bonuses are
based on service, quality and financial goals and all must be
reached for bonus to be paid. Benefit package is excellent and
is 29% of our overall benefits. Paid time off includes, sick,
vacation and grows based on years of service. Holiday time
amount to (7) paid holidays per year.
