Job Responsibilities
I audit the operations of a unit called Mastercard
Operations, this unit is involved in making available Mastercards to customers
who have requested and also met the requirements for owning a credit card. I make
sure that the policies drawn out to guide the smooth running of the product are
adhered to, like making sure accounts are opened, making sure the account
documentation for account owners are complete before accounts is operated,making
sure that customers transcations are processed accurately and timely, making sure
the credit line availed are
monitored, making sure that the daily settlement which comes from Mastercard
company in the U.S. is processed and posted. These are done daily.

Job Requirements
A degree in accounting or any business related field and a
professional qualification in accounting.

The job is quite challenging in that you get to overlook what someone else has
done and make sure the right thing is being done,its a great lot of responsibilty
and interesting too.

Not everyone likes an auditor.

Lifestyle
I work from 8.00am till 6.00pm Monday through Friday, I get to go for training
sessions although its in the same city.the company has social events like agms,
etc. The dress code is strictly formal (trouser or skirt suits).

The salary is attractive and is able to take care of one to a great extent.
