Job Responsibilities
Production data entry - approx 2 hrs,
delivery slip creation, and invoice creation for export, all
related documentation - varies from ship sail scheduling.
Verification of information at dock - varies as this can change
right up to sailing
accounts payable backup - as time permits

Job Requirements
Needs high level of accuracy and some accounting background.
The more education, upgrading, the easier to work your way up.
Preference given to CGA's in progress.

maybe high stress, but is not boring and the wages can be competitive.

Downers
It is a very high stress level job, because of many interconnecting
deadlines.
The forest industry is in limbo and this creates more stress that is
not controllable by the individual

Lifestyle
Must be willing to put in the extra hours. Also will find month end a little
crazy, but after all is past the next week is good for any clean up and changes
to be made.

Compensation
Base salary will be approximately $3,000 per month depending on
level of education and specifics of the job.

Advice to Jobseekers
I would actually suggest you look in another industry as this one
is not stable and won't be for some time. Office administration
is transferrable to any other trades so I would highly suggest
some other field, unless you are alright with the possibility of
a temporary job.
