Job Requirements
I attended the George Washington University. I couldn't have been happier. The program met or exceeded all my expectations. The first year was somewhat difficult to get back into the habit of studying and networking with many people, but after that it got much easier and more fun. I was able to get into all the classes I wanted, but in some cases had to plan ahead and schedule myself early for the most popular classes. Workload was a good mix to encourage learning.
Uppers
Steady employment with the government, location, people, little airline travel.
Downers
Bad mix of work-life balance.
Lifestyle
Work hours can be excessive and if your client is in a different state, the travel can be hectic and wear on you after the first year or so. Dress code was business casual.
Compensation
Base salary was $80k. No other bonuses or stock options, but vacation time was generous.
Advice to Jobseekers
Do it for a few years to gain experience, then move on.
