Downers
I was very happy with the company for over 13 years. Then
they 'fired' me in Jan 2003. They had laid a LOT of people off
due to the economy. But they fired me (and another worker I
heard about) as we had both been there over ten years. And a
severence package would have been a lot!! So by 'firing' us,
theye incurred NO costs. Pennsylvannian employment law allows
this too - which sucks!

Lifestyle
Regular hours, only travel was regular trips between sites ~3miles apart in
company vehicle. Business casual dress.
But realize that it's a company that don't give a shit about you!! I'd been
there over 13 years - to be 'fired' to save themselves a few dollars!!

Compensation
I was on ~$43K. Lowest pay for the grade (13). Annual
discretionary bonus (couple of thousand). Regular medical, 401K
etc.

Advice to Jobseekers
Don't work at IMS Health!!!! If you do, and decide to leave -
give them NO notice!!!!!! Their internet application form has
this sentence - which you HAVE to accept before continuing:
'I understand that employment with IMS Health Incorporated is at-
will, and that either I or IMS Health Incorporated may terminate
my employment at any time with or without notice, for any or no
reason.'
So play them at their own game here - and just leave!! Give NO
notice!
