Job Responsibilities
Dispatching drivers to job sites, taking orders from customers,
helping drivers with split-second decisions that could cost or
make the company thousands of dollars. Same position 6 days a
week, at least 55 hours a week.

Needs experience with computers, fast typing speed, multi-

Job is an eleven hour straight job that moves by very fast because there is
always something to do.

Pay isn't great. The extra hours help, but also give me no life
because I come home and pass right out.

Lifestyle
I have barely any life anymore. 55 hours a week or more puts a damper on any
social interaction unless I want to be half awake. This company doesn't hire
many dispatchers, just one, so I am in charge of almost the full day of work
which can be up to 16-20 hours of work in a single day.

Compensation
Compensation for this position is weak. Base salary is $11 an
hour even with experience in dispatching. Incentive for the
department is after 90 days at about $1.05 more an hour
depending on the production of the company.

This position (at least in this company) really has no future
unless you want to stay in the same position for the rest of
your working life.
