Job Responsibilities
I worked as a hazard tech, I was responsible for making sure the product didn't leave without being at a degree of 40 or below I worked 40 to 48hrs a week,I also had to make sure that sanitation was done properly like, no meat on the floor no trash no boxes also i had to make sure that other emplyees sprayed down the floor and that they put away their gloves,knives,and aprons properly.
Job Requirements
I worked at this facility for (6)months in 1998then I worked for an additional (6)months in 2004&2005 so i have over a years exp.
Uppers
Knowing that when the product leave the plant it is in the best condition knowing that it isn't going to make people sick and to know that when it reaches it's destination it will still be fresh and eatable.
Downers
When product has to be thrown away because of careless mistakes,and when it hasn't been stored properly,and if product has many diseases and can't be salvaged.
Lifestyle
I worked third shift from 11:15 pm-8-30am.
Compensation
My pay was started at $8.00 an hr and was ended at $8.75.
