Job Responsibilities
Customer service provided by each of the branches under my control. Achievement of targets for sale of Banking, Financial and related services as well as attracting new clients. Management of all issues arising whether customer related, staff or any financial matters
Job Requirements
Entry to the bank can be with as little as 3 GCSEs but there are also opportunities for graduate entrants.
Uppers
Sorting out financial issues for clients whether businesses or individuals. Coaching members of staff and seeing them progress in their careers. Meeting people, including business leaders, in the local community

Dealing with underperforming members of staff.

There is a good career path, but it is necessary to put in a lot of hard work and quickly progress up the career ladder to obtain good remuneration, which is only at the higher levels for more senior managers. Obtaining professional qualifications through study of degree level qualification in banking will also help this progress.
Compensation
Starting salary is from around ??12k per annum and rises mainly through taking on additional responsibility. Annual bonuses are paid by performance targets being achieved and can be substantial for over performance. Share Option schemes are awarded to the very highest performers each year and can be exercised after 3 years if performance criteria are met. For new entrants the pension scheme does not commence until the age of 23 and is contributory. There is now no final salary sheme available for anyone who has entered the bank over the last few years
