Job Responsibilities
In the position of Project Administrator I tended to the daily
running of one of the many departments within Guardain. Tracking
monthly and weekly reporting, handling the budget, processing the
Vendor Invoices, making sure they are paid timely, and various
other duties necessary to help the department run smoothly.

Job Requirements
A background in computer applications is necessary. Creating
spreadsheets, databases, documents needed to complete this job.
Also need good interpersonal skills with inside employees as well
as outside vendors.
|
Uppers
The best part of this job was the ability to work independently and having the
authority to make changes to reports in order to make the job more time efficient.
|
Downers
The slow turn around time of others when information is
requested, which then put the reporting behind company schedules.
|
Lifestyle
The lifestyle was laid back. Work hours were flexible, except during budget
time, when the hours are a bit more stringent. There was not any travel involved
outside the immediate area. The dress code is business casual with Fridays being
casual dress down. Being able to work well with others and at the same time
being independent is critical in this position.
|
Compensation
The pay scale was average. Mid to high 30's. The benefits are
expensive and there was a yearly bonus that was decided on
standards set my management that staff had to meet in order to
get a % of their salary. This program may no longer be in place.

Advice to Jobseekers
I do not have a good outlook for this position, as Sr. Management
does not see the whole position responsibilities and is looking
to merge functions with other areas.
