meaning shift work including holidays.

Job Requirements
Technical school or equivalent military experience, followed by on the job
training and classes from vendors. Easy to start and easy to complete.
Opportunity to be prommoted, but only right place right time - competence does
not factor in. Promotion goes to same racial / ethnic group as management only.

Industry in complete upheaval for the last twenty years. Been layed off twice.
Spend all day staring at a computer and talking on the phone. Bosses generally
promoted from within so just because a person is a good technician does not make
them a good manager. CNN blasting all day long. Surrounded by narrow-minded
conservative types.

Compensation
Currently $28.56 per hour. 2% raise 2004. No raise 2003. No raise 2002.
Generally bonuses are on again / off again. Stock options given to entice, but
never redeemd as value collapses before vesting.
