customers regarding health and body and fitness, wellbeing
issues.
Retail tasks such as paperwork, stock ordering, banking, cash
handling, training staff, stock monitoring, etc.

Job Requirements
Bachelor of health science- naturopathy (ND) workload reasonable
but difficult, exams every semester which relied on over 50% to
pass the entire semester's subject... not good, because needed
good mark in all assignment thesis and assessment also.
professors ok, some better than others and some terrible.

Constant contact with a large variety of the community, continual learning and
broadening skills in my qualification. Constantly faced with new health issues
and having to be quick and effective in knowing ways to help each person with
these issues. Satisfaction in helping people get the most out of their lives and
helping them in their quest for wellness. Learning more from my peers and by
being faced with challenging issues.

Rude customers, people who don't take your advice or take it and
give nothing in return, low pay, customers who drain your own
vitality and energy, meeting people who you simply cannot help
and feeling useless if that happens.

Lifestyle
Retail work hours are not very good, ie. 9.30pm finish time on thurs and fri
nights, having to work sat and sun. dress code is standard uniform, black slacks,
shoes and company shirt. Need qualifications, genuine interest in natural
medicine, nutrition and sports specialisation.

Compensation
commission is available on certain products enabling a bonus
each month of whatever you are capable of $150 roughly in a
standard acheiving store, staff discount is good. base salary is
low for your qualifications.

outlook is great with ever increasing interest in natural
alternatives to medicine, sports and bodyshaping will always
prevail as vanity never diminishes! good starting point to
progress and get management experience wihtout pressure of a

locations enables travel and work in other countries
