Job Responsibilities
1) Manage a staff of 6 programmers.
2) Handle technical question about the software systems from the
client staff (banks and auto finance companies).
3) Design, code, test and deliver customized solutions for
clients.
4) Design and present and technical training requested by
clients.
5) Maintain and enforce the ISO9000 procedures.

Job Requirements
1) Job requirements are a 4 year degree in computer programming
or equivalent work expience programming mainframe computers.
2) On-going training is required to remain current on the
technology (classes usually provided by the company)

1) Work hours - normal 45 hour week

Advice to Jobseekers
I would not recommend moving into the mainframe technical
support area. It is one of the areas that is being taken over
by the consulting firms from India.
