Job Responsibilities
Generate monthly and weekly professional service customer and management reports. Help with the month end close activities such as allocations. Support the preparation of financial plans and budgets. Maintain project finance tracking and analysis. Provide ad hoc analysis as requested to support the operation managers.
Job Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Finance is required. MBA helps, but isnt necessary. Job experience helps more than a degree. Start off working as an Accounts Payable or Receivable would be the best route into this job.
Uppers
Income. Work isnt difficult until the end of the month. Typical 8 hour days.
Downers
At the end of the month, you end up working weekends and lots of overtime.
Lifestyle
Dress code is business casual, but this varys according to the firms. There isnt much business travel.
Compensation
Entry level is $50-60k. 2nd year $60-70. 3rd year $75-85. Again, the compensation varys according to the industry.
