Lifestyle
Work with professional people in a professional atmosphere. Co-workers are
compatible and helpful. Upper echelon management are always willing to answer
questions. We are given a choice of flex hours within a certain timeframe
(30-min. or 1-hr. lunch; start). Non-salaried (admin) work 7.5 hrs. with almost
no overtime. Dress is business casual. Company social events are fun and varied
but not demand-performance. Job seekers should familiarize themselves with the
company prior to interviews, if at all possible.

Compensation
In the past 10 yrs. I have moved from $12.50/hr. to almost
$20/hr. For the past four years we have received a 4-wk. bonus
because of EOY expense vs. loss ratios. Our company matches
100% of our first 6% 401K contributions. They give each
employee $500/year toward our benefits programs (health, dental,
vision) and we can set up Flex Medical and/or Dependent Spending
Accounts. We are given life insurance up to one year's salary
and allowed to purchase 4X that amount, if desired.

Advice to Jobseekers
Be interested in your company. Take pride in your job. No
matter how insignificant your job may seem, there is usually an
opportunity for advancement once you have proved you are a good,
steady worker. Do the best you can each day. Ask questios when
you don't understand. Offer to help your co-worker when you
have extra time.
