Downers
1. Pay scale is much too low. 2. Equipment is outdated - but that is quickly improving this year and over the next 9 months.
Lifestyle
I work 40 hours a week in a very relaxed atmosphere. I usually go in at 8:30 a.m. and work until our last client is complete. I have a choice of taking a lunch hour or leaving early. Overtime is paid without hassle. Dress code is business casual. Jones has an annual picnic for employees and spouses and BOAs have a monthly meeting and a BOA movie night. Anytime we are required to travel to a meeting, Jones reimburses us quite well and we are paid to attend the meeting. You and your IR MUST click - you are a team and a 2-person office. Once you find the right IR, you job is heaven!
Compensation
Base salary depends on experience, education and motivation. Bonuses are quarterly, providing the Investment Representative is in the profitable segment. General Partnerships are available after 3 years of service. 401k options are available after 1 year of service. Full benefits are available with no pre- existing conditions clause for neither employee nor spouse. Stock options are available only for senior level employees.
