I teach English to Vietnamese students at Northcentral
University. I also hire other teachers to teach English.

Job Requirements
This is a Bachelor in Business Administration Program. Years 3
and 4 of the program will be taught in English.

Uppers
I like teaching 22 hours per week. I have autonomy in my classroom. I co-teach
with Vietnamese teachers and their imput is important and useful.

Downers
It can be frustrating working with students who are not used to
contributing to the classroom discussion. Also their English
level is low. Sometimes the class attendance is low.

Lifestyle
I teach 22 hours per week, hire other teachers, go to many social events to find
other English teachers, work with a variety of Vietnamese teachers and teach at a
Vietnamese University.

Compensation
Salary is 36,000 USD. Benefits are 2,000 USD for Health
Insurance, 8,000 USD for housing, and 2,000 USD for airline
tickets.

Advice to Jobseekers
There are too many English positions open in this country right
now. Most pay only 15.00 USD per hour. Don't come to Vietnam
to teach English.
