Forecasting (3-5 days/month), Written regional economic analysis (5-7 days/month), Written industry economic analysis (5-7 days/month), Interview prospective hires (1-3 days/month), Provide online economic commentary (3-4 times/month), Support client projects (5-6 days/month).
Job Requirements
3 Hiring Levels: Associate Economist - BA/BS required, top programs a definite plus, econ majors or minors, generally 3.5 GPA or above Economist - MA/MS/PhD preferred, typically only econ programs, econ consulting/research experience a large plus Senior Economist - PhD + Significant work experience only Once hired, internal promotion between levels is possible. Promotions based on both performance and tenure.
