Job Responsibilities
Responsible for prospecting and closing new business in the
hospitality, health care industry. Developing relationships with
outside wholesaler companies, along with upper management to
fully insure a successful return.

Job Requirements
Within the company their is on the job training as well as
corporate training provided by the company. This is given
throughout the year.

Uppers
The best part about my job is the interaction with people. I really enjoy
talking with potential buyers about the benefit of switiching to Ecolab as their
primary vendor for cleaning supplies.

Downers
The downers of the job is the pay structure. I am comensated on
the business I close. This is a little to unstructured for me as
well as a bit nerve racking. I would much rather have a Salary
plus commission job.

Lifestyle
The lifestyle is good. I am given a card and an expense account for cell phone
use and gas money. I am on the road from 8AM to about 5PM everyday propecting in
between those hours. I am on the phone about half the day. When I return back
home to where my home office is I am on the computer about two hours during the
evening.

Compensation
The compensation is based on what I sell. I am compensated soley
on the business I put on the for the year. After 1 year is up, I
am no longer commissioned on that account.

Advice to Jobseekers
The company is great, the job benefits are very good and career
development is good. This job demands very hard work. Its up to
the individual to perform at his/her best.
