Job Responsibilities
Building and fostering the development of the learning community
(decentralized units within the business)
Ongoing research and "special projects" on issues such
as "Competencies" and "Organizational Design"
Fostering best practices
Consulting and supporting members of the learning community,
business partners, HR Leadership and Performance Management
Learning and evaluation strategies
Enhancing the profile of the company by presenting at
conferences, establishing and maintaining networks,
participating in community projects
Advice and support to learning community and business clients

Job Requirements
Educated in G.B., France, Germany and N. America therefore multi-
lingual. Background: modern languages, psychology and science of
the practice of education. Have worked for a French wine
company, for a film company, in the not for profit sector, for
government and spent 15 years working in university continuing
education or professional development prior to returning to the
private sector (financial services sector).

Lifestyle
Dress code is quite relaxed - dress to suit the activity is really all that is
required. There is some flexibility to work at home when required but the
preference is that everyone is in the office from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. minimum.
I work at least 55 hours/week.
I do not do a lot of business travel. We use virtual classrooms and virtual
meeting tools frequently.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is approximately CDN$85,000 -
$115,000. A bonus may be awarded on an annual basis depending
on performance. There is a wide range of optional benefits that
employees can select from.
