Advice to Jobseekers
*** The reality is you have to start at the bottom unless your father/mother owns the company. It is best to find a job with a solid financial management training program rather than going for the quick dollars by getting a sales job. Top-paying finance jobs don't fall from the sky. Instead, they go to those who start off at the bottom and hard work their way up. *** 1. A CPA/MBA combo is critical for long-term career growth 2. Always be positive and cling on to successful individuals within the company. Find a mentor. 3. Always make yourself a part of the high growth area of the company. 4. Keep a positive attitude and never talk bad about anyone. 5. You can never totally avoid company politics. Just live with the politics, just don't be a contributor.
