Job Responsibilities
I help take care of 2- 5 graders at an Elementary School in an after school program.
Job Requirements
Must have a high scholl diploma to work for the company.
Uppers
The kids are fun and the pay for a part time jobs is better then working at a fast food restuarant.
Downers
Kid are hard to deal with when they some times will not listen.
Lifestyle
I work about 3.15 hours Monday- Friday, not weekends. We dress to be able work with kids some general clothing without logos promoting things that kids should not see.
Compensation
I make about $12.40 Hr and make about $700.00 after taxes per month. We get more hours when kids are off track because we go on field trips. The adults are paid and get into the field trips free. We go to Sea World, Wild Animal Park, etc. The adult end having more responsibility, but most of the kids are aware that we are not at a place were you can mess around.
Advice to Jobseekers
You would be working with kids and patience is a must and the ability to get them to settle down. Some times they need you to help them with their homework.
