Job Responsibilities
Work 8 hours in a 5 day week. Public service, educating the
public on parking issues, enforcement when required in issuing
notices to radical parking issues. I spent approximately 6 hours
walking or driving in the outer city limits. I will promote the
services that we provide within this local government.

Job Requirements
Before forwarding your name to this position you must pass a
security clearance and basic checks from your past employees.
When you are considered as a new recruit, you must pass certain
tests. 1) Basic Academic 2)Physical 3)Psychometric 4) 2
Interviews 5)Final test Law theory. Nobody fails a test
basically any part of the final test is not completed you resit
it. Teachers consist of current Parking Wardens with various
degrees of experience. The classes are broken into areas so it
is easier to learn. The career paths will take you to different
departments through to customer service through to supervisory
roles depending on experience.

Lifestyle
The job isnt rocket science it is very easy job to do. There is an uniform
provided where we work with other different cultures. We work between the hours
of 7am to 11pm but there some who have 24/7 contracts. There are social
gatherings within the team structures as well as within the department. If you
enjoy communicating with the public with some added responsibilty join up.

Compensation
40,000 NZ dollars, there are some staff discounts.

Advice to Jobseekers
They must have a lot of patience but they are able to think on
their feet. There will always be parking enforcers because
people cant drive.
