Job Responsibilities
Making sure the hotel is cleaned all the way through, making out
schedules weekly, hiring and firing of housekeepers, helping
guests and making sure they are taken care of, also do all the
ordering of supplies and inventory every month.

Job Requirements
started off as a housekeeper, then worked up to asst. head
housekeeper, and now am the head housekeeper. Did not have to
take any type of classes or have a degree, just had to be really
good at the job and able to be a leader.

Uppers
The work load is easier, the pay is better and I get alot more hours, meaning a
better paycheck.

Downers
Having to do the rooms when someone fails to show up on their
scheduled days.

Lifestyle
I work an 8-3 job, have not had any opportunity to travel or go to social
events, but hope to at some point.

Compensation
I make $9.00 am hour, and can generally work as many hours as I
want to, am able to participate in the 401k plan.
