Technical training for software applications. Hours spent 16-40
dependig on client needs.
Testing software application up to 20 hours a week
Development of new materials for training up to 25 hours a week

Job Requirements
Mandatory Masters level education for entry level position.
Currently studying to take the project management test in order
to get the PMP certification

Challenging work, you are able to work on applications that will improve your
marketability, travel.

Downers
Hours can be long, a lot of the times you have to work on the
weekends.
If you get on a project you do not like it takes time before you
can move off that project.

Lifestyle
As listed above minimally 45 hours a week, sometimes up to 60.
You are required to travel 4 to 5 days a week and in the evening attend company
dinners.
Dress code can be either business professional or business casual depending on
the client.
Diversity at the consultant level is varied by both gender and race but as you
look up the career ladder one will find a white male dominated industry.

Compensation
70,000 entry level for consultants
Benefits are very competitive with 401K, all major medical,
dental and vision covered at a 90/10

Advice to Jobseekers
There is definite growth in the consultant field. I was told
over the next couple of years company's will need to drive more
business at the consultant level as they have become top heavy.
