50% - Offshore delivery centre management support,
which means ensure support services ( facilities and
networks) are set up on schedule and delivering services - i am
the business interface.
50% - Presales support, offshore component of services,
capabilities and rates for all new business proposals, support
the bid team with collateral.

MBA - career path is to move into a Solution Manager and
regional director role, finally going into the BD group.

technologies that CSC provides.

Doing anything from Offshore ensures only 20% of the role is
handed over to you.

unstructured and favor-dependent unless you work in a

Lifestyle
Work hours - 12 pm to 930 pm India time.
Business travel - initially support role, so remote and offshore only. later,
there will be travel to CSC locations where bid teams assemble.
Social events -primarily top execs of CSC come for Reviews and clients coming on
Due diligence and audits, exposure is higher than even if you were at a CSC
Dev/Data centre in US/UK.

Compensation
Gross:INR 8,80,00 - 40% basic, 30% - living, leave, fuel and
medical allowances, 30% - lease rental and other allowances
In addition: benefits: company funded food and transportation,
group insurance and hospitalisation.
No bonuses or stock options.

Advice to Jobseekers
Don't join an offshore foreign company unless you have a defined
role and it is a professional organisation.
If you can, join when it is starting up, you grow much faster,
even if it is not a blue chip firm, it's a better bet this way.
In India, change jobs once every 3 years, not less...
