Job Responsibilities
CFO - implemented a new organization including a local Financial
Planning and Analysis team and a local Financial Accounting team
leveraging a European Shared Service Center based in the UK. Led
local budgeting, forecasting, planning, internal benchmarking,
variance analysis and financial reporting in accordance with
corporate practices (US GAAP) and with local practices (French
GAAP). Managed relationship with the tax administration and local
regulators. Led the financial part of the sale of French
portfolios and of the social plan to close the French business.
Led a cost saving program in 2002 including a restructuring plan
that allowed decreasing the French costs by 40% while ensuring
service continuity.
