Job Responsibilities
My primary job responsibility is to be the voice of the customer
within our organization. 70% of my day is at the quote / order
level with 20% follow-up and tracking of current orders and 10%
answering consumer questions and directing them to the
appropriate person who can best help them. I work primarily with
our sales organization and operations, with an eye on finance.
All this while managing a team of seasoned professionals all
doing their best to "delight the customer".

Job Requirements
A Bachelors degree is a must. Upbeat attitude and excellent
attendance, attention to detail and technical aptitude are all
critical to getting the job done. Willingness to go the extra
mile will get you far!

Uppers
Dealing with our customers makes each and every day unique. While the majority
of the tasks are the same from day to day the interaction from day to day is
never the same. With so much experience within our team, our head honchos are
typically hands off and allow us to provide the creativity needed to be
profitable yet keep the customers coming back for more. We have truly marked
ourselves as the experts in our industry.

Downers
Irate customers are never fun to deal with but since we're both
in business to stay in business it's always to our advantage to
find the solution that is a win-win for both sides. As we all
know there are times where nothing goes right - add to the mix
the irate customer and let your creativity flow!

Lifestyle
Since we are a global organization, our early birds come in early to work with
our parent company needs located overseas and our late risers chose to come in
and work with our customers on the West Coast. Since we are a manufacturing and
assembly plant, our dress is informal but when we have customer visits we must
dress business casual. On customer visits or for trade shows, we believe it's
best to mirror what our customers are comfortable with.

Compensation
Compensation is based on experience. As the supervisor, I am in
the $40-50K annual range and our more seasoned reps make $30-40K,
annually. Entry level is in the 25-30K annual range. Our
company provides full benefits so our compensation may appear low
but believe me the value is huge! Our bonus plan is based on
overall profitability of our organization and can range in the 10-
20% range of our annual salaries; we anticipate even larger
bonuses in the future.

Advice to Jobseekers
Have an open mind, upbeat attitude, have fun, enjoy your work and
remember the more you learn about your product the more valuable
to the company you will be. Be helpful to both internal and
external customers, it's not a bad thing to learn so much that
you are the official "go to" person within your company. Enjoy
working with your customers, you can learn a great deal from each
other and they are the reason you are working!
